Plumbers Licensing Board
The Plumbers Licensing Board has been operating since 2000 and comprises seven members appointed by the Minister for Commerce in accordance with the Regulations.
Members of the Plumbers Licensing Board are appointed to represent the interests of the plumbing industry and the community.
Each member is appointed by the Minister for Commerce, Hon Michael Mischin MLC, for a term and the details are available on the Boards and Committees website of the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Chairperson
Howard Croxon OAM

Mr Howard Croxon OAM has significant experience in the operation of boards and committees. Mr Croxon is a vigorous advocate for industry and also represents the interest of consumers. As Principal Consultant for Croxon Management Solutions he has worked with Government and Industry to achieve high value outcomes during his career.
Members
Len Andel

Mr Len Andel has significant knowledge and experience of the plumbing industry and represents regional areas. He is Managing Director of Andel Plumbing and has a depth of experience in commercial, recourses, new housing, service and maintenance. Mr Andel has worked in the Bunbury region for 14 years.
Gerald McDonald

Gerald McDonald was appointed by the Minister as a person with knowledge and experience of the plumbing industry nominated by the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union (CEPU). Gerald is a licensed plumbing tradesperson and gas fitter with nearly 50 years experience in the plumbing and construction industries. He is currently employed by the WA Health Department as a Hospital Maintenance Tradesperson with responsibility for maintaining the State's major hospitals.
Dr Frank Pitman

Dr Frank Pitman represents the interests of consumers and has a wealth of experience in government. As Director of Project Services he was resposible for the delivery of new government buildings and the maintenance of existing government buildings throughout the State. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers.
Richard Schwenke

Mr Richard Schwenke was appointed to the Board to represent consumer interests. His many years of experience in private enterprise, including in real estate, financial planning, insurance, computing and as a small business proprietor, make him a strong and informed advocate in this area.
Timothy Swift
Mr Timothy Swift brings knowledge and experience of the plumbing industry representing the Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association (MPGA). He has been a member of MPGA for 25 years and has held office as an Executive Committee member. He is currently a Director of the MPA Skills Group Training Organisation and has been on the MPA Skills Board since 2009. Mr Swift is Managing Director of Pipeline Hydraulics.
