When Should an Audit be Requested?

All drainage plumbing work that is considered to be major work, such as a sewer conversion or the alteration of more than 5 metres of existing drainage plumbing, requires a request for audit to be lodged with the Board.  Requests for a drain audit must be lodged prior to 5pm the day before the day the drainage plumbing work  will be ready for audit.  It is important that you also quote the Notice of Intention number relating to the property on which you require the audit when you contact the Board to book it.

It is possible that, on a large complex job, a licensed plumbing contractor may need to request more than one audit as each stage of the job reaches the audit stage.
