How to become a Licensed Plumber

The Board has published Application Forms to assist applicants to become either a Licensed Tradesperson or a Licensed Plumbing Contractor.

You can click on the relevant form and fill in all the required details before downloading or printing for signature and witnessing. The completed form is then to be fowarded to the Board along with required evidence including certificates, photographs and fees.

Forms are also available on request via the Board's Licensing team on 9476 1377 or by visiting the Board at the Building Commission offices at Level 1, 31 Troode Street, West Perth 6005. You can also request assistance to complete an Application Form on site or by telephone, email to plumbers@commerce.wa.gov.au or by facsimile to 1300 449 185.

The completed Application Form and required supporting documentation and payments need to be submitted by post or in person.
