Plumbing Contractor's Licence Fees

Authorisation

A plumbing contractor's licence authorises the holder to:

• carry out the plumbing work specified on the licence;
• exercise general direction and control over the carrying out of authorised work by the holder of a tradesperson's licence; and
• supervise the carrying out of such work by an apprentice.

In accordance with the Regulations, to be eligible to obtain a plumbing contractor's licence an applicant must:

• demonstrate to the Board that they are:
  • competent in carrying out water supply, sanitary and/or drainage plumbing work; and
  • a fit and proper person to hold a licence.
• provide to the Board two certified passport sized photographs.
