How to Purchase Notices and Certificates
Notices of intention/certificates of compliance and multi-entry certificates will only be able to be purchased by licensed plumbing contractors. The certificate numbers purchased will be recorded against the licensed plumbing contractor and only that licensed contractor will be able to submit them to the Board. This means that notices/certificates will not be transferable from one licensed plumbing contractor to another.
Where to Purchase Notices and Certificates
Notices and certificates are available from the Department of Commerce. A notices of intention and corresponding certificates of compliance will cost $20 however a discount will apply for purchases in multiples of ten or twenty. A multi-entry certificates will cost $15 however a discount will apply if a book of 12 is purchased. Fees associated with notices and certificates will be exempt from GST.
Methods of Purchase
When purchasing a notices of intention/certificates of compliance or multi-entry certificates the following purchase options will be available:
- Telephone Order using Credit Card
Notices of intention/certificates of compliance as well as multi-entry certificates will be available for purchase over the phone by contacting the Plumbers Licensing Board. Licensed plumbing contractors will be able to call 9282 0478 and speak to a support officer. Payment by credit card will be required at the time of making the order.
Please allow at least 2 working days for delivery. Delivery will only be made to the address recorded in the Plumbers Licensing Board’s database.
- Counter Sales
Notices and certificates will also be available to purchase from all of the Commerce offices. Refer to the back page of the booklet for locations and office hours. When purchasing forms over the counter, licensed plumbing contractors will need to provide their licence card for identification purposes.
Payment must be made at the time of collecting the notices/certificates. Payment over the counter will be able to be made by cash, EFTPOS, credit card, cheque or money order.
- Mail order
To order the forms by mail simply complete the notices of intention/certificates of compliance or multi-entry certificate order form, attach a cheque/money order or provide credit card details and mail to:

Please allow sufficient time for the order to be receipted by the Board and delivered. Delivery will only be made to the address recorded in the Plumbers Licensing Board’s database.
Cheques/money orders are to be made payable to the Plumbers Licensing Board.
