Safety awareness training for the plumbing industry

WorkSafe regulations make safety awareness training mandatory for employees or self-employed people undertaking construction work at a workplace in Western Australia.

Training courses have been made available to all plumbers and construction trades to provide participants with a basic knowledge and understanding of the requirements of occupational safety and health legislation and the management of hazards associated with construction work.

All participants who successfully complete this course will be issued with a Construction Safety Awareness Training card valid for three years.

Further information and costs to obtain the appropriate construction industry safety awareness training can be obtained from the safety awareness training course page on the WorkSafe website or by contacting WorkSafe on 1300 307 877.
