Plumbers

On 1 July 2004 a new statewide compliance and inspection framework under the management of the PLB was implemented.

The new framework provides for:

• Uniform plumbing standards across the State.
• Self-certification.
• Proactive Compliance related activities including:
• Random audits of plumbing work carried out; and
• Regular compliance checks of licensed plumbing contractors.
